This quality trap, is a modification from the Tube Trap originally designed for mink in the early 80's. This is a shorter version, plated for rust resistance and comes with brackets for easy mounting over holes on structures. But it is still deadly on pesky squirrels. The TUBE TRAP - Shorty is 4.5 inches in diameter, and is constructed of 21 gauge steel. The TUBE TRAP - Shorty is 7.5 inches in length and is powered by the same "beefy" double torsion spring as the original Tube Trap.
 

The parts are all precision cut by laser so they are no sharp edges to contend with. This trap can be used in both a baited and unbaited manner. It's size allows for use in smaller more narrow spaces like fire boxes and wood stoves.
